Director, Regulatory Administration

Mr. Kokofele attended the Njala University College graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education with double Majors in Economic and further gained a post graduate qualification in Agricultural Economics respectively.

Mr. Smart I.B. Kokofele was previously the Deputy Director Corporate and Industry Affairs of the Commission and now the Director Regulatory Administration.

Mr. Kokofele attended the Njala University College graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education with double Majors in Economic and further gained a post graduate qualification in Agricultural Economics respectively.

He has over a decade work experience in Education and in the Civilian Security sector of Sierra Leone before joining NATCOM. In his journey in the civilian security sector, he acquired certificates in Human Security from the Institute for Security Studies in Addis Ababa, Election Security Expert from Kofi Annan International Peace Training Center (KAIPTC) in Accra.

Mr. Kokofele provides strategic leadership, direction and support in formulating strategies and policies with the view to provide safeguard mechanisms to promote a positive image of the Commission to its stakeholders, educating, resolving complaints and upholding Consumer Protection with particular attention to supervision of Consumer and Corporate Affairs, Media and Public Relation of the Commission.
