Mr Momoh Kemoh Konte, newly appointed Chairman and Commissioner of the National Telecommunications Commission (NATCOM), Sierra Leone’s telecoms National Regulatory Authority, shortly after been interviewed by the Committee on Appointments in the House of Parliament, Tuesday, 3rd February, 2015. Mr Konte is the fourth in a row as Chairman and Commissioner of NATCOM since the creation of the Commission in 2006, replacing Dr Tom Obaleh Kargbo.
He hailed from Koinadugu District, northern Sierra Leone, and studied in the US, where he attined a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and an Advanced Degree in Business Administration at Howard University and University of Toledo respectively. He brings to NATCOM a wealth of experience in ICT. He is CEO of Transtec International, an ICT company operating in Sierra Leone and other parts of the world.
